About this Event
This event will be created and led by Sneha Wadhwani, founder of ShantiYogaCollective. In this event Sneha will be going over the ways in which Western yoga presents a colonized and white washed version of an art form that goes beyond posed stretches. We will be exploring yoga as a means of unifying body and spirit with community care. Additionally, we will examine how the practice is inherently based in queer perspectives. Sneha will also be leading the group through a yoga flow to experience the workshop material first hand. We look forward to seeing you there!!
