Join me for a special evening of music as I present my first-ever recital program exclusively featuring Brazilian composers! From the virtuosic charm of Choro to the soulful melodies of Bossa Nova, this program highlights the depth and beauty of Brazilian guitar music. The repertoire includes works by Dilermando Reis, Heitor Villa-Lobos, Antônio Carlos Jobim, Egberto Gismonti, Yamandu Costa, Ulisses Rocha, and more, showcasing Brazil’s rich musical tradition through some of its most iconic and innovative voices.
This recital is especially meaningful as it comes alongside the release of my book, Behind the Frets: Real Advice for Aspiring Musicians, where I share insights from my journey as a performer and educator. It also follows the success of my latest albums, where I continue to explore the expressive possibilities of the guitar. Whether you’re a longtime lover of Brazilian music or discovering it for the first time, this program offers a heartfelt tribute to the composers who have shaped my musical path.
