For Recital 2 our Atlantic String Quartet is joined by the award winning Duo Concertante on November 1, 2026 at 7:30pm at the D. F. Cook Recital Hall.
This program leans into rich, expressive chamber music. Louis Vierne’s String Quartet in D minor opens with something dark and searching, full of tension and colour. From there, the ASQ welcomes special guests Nancy Dahn, violin and Tim Steeves, piano to join them to perform Ernest Chausson’s Concerto for Violin, Piano and String Quartet, a work where the lines between soloist and ensemble start to blur in a really beautiful way.
