Recess @ Westside is an open community jam night where musicians, movers, and creatives come together to play, connect, and create.
Sign up as a full band or come find new friends to jam with, or just come to get your groove on and enjoy the show. There will be no karaoke at this event (look for our Karaoke night!)
The venue is a hidden gem within the Niles area that provides an exceptional audio experience in an immersive, art-filled space featuring large-scale projections, dynamic lighting, and live visuals that transform the space into a psychedelic, multi-sensory experience.
You’re not just playing — you’re playing inside a living piece of art.
This is a low-pressure, high-vibe space for improvisation, collaboration, and spontaneous magic. All art forms are welcome — music, dancing, flow props, poetry, visual art, and anything else you want to bring into the circle. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or just curious to try something new, Recess is about play, expression, and community.
No auditions. No egos. Just recess. 🎶✨

•Entrance is UP the STAIRS -no entry into the building from any other door. (SEE MAP)
