School is back in session, but today is all about RECESS.
Hosted by Purpose CLT, this isn't just a block party—it’s a movement. We are transforming the corridor between Urban District Market and Seoul Food into a vibrant, nostalgic playground where local culture meets community impact. Whether you are hitting the roller rink or dominating at Giant Connect 4, every moment is designed to connect hearts and communities.
The Mission: #StuffTheBus 🚌
As a registered non-profit, Purpose CLT believes in partying with a purpose. Entry to this event is 100% FREE with a school supply donation. Our goal is to literally stuff a bus with markers, notebooks, and classroom essentials to alleviate the financial burden on our local educators.
The Experience Breakdown 🗺️
Zone 1: The Rink (Rail Trail & Paved Area)
- Lace up and roll out. We are hosting a massive pop-up roller disco right on the trail. Expect a live DJ curating a heavy rotation of nostalgic 90s and 2000s anthems to keep the baseline bouncing.
Zone 2: Vendor Village (Literary Lane)
- Support local! Stroll through our outdoor marketplace featuring a curated lineup of Charlotte's best artisans, makers, and pop-culture creators.
Zone 3: The Playground (Green Space)
- Step up to the ultimate adult recess. Grab a craft beverage from our venue partners and dive into our free-play arena featuring:
- Cornhole & Pong
- Table Tennis & Plinko
- Giant Connect 4, Chess & Checkers
- Flip Cup & more!
THE IMPACT
Purpose CLT is a registered NC 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to uplifting and supporting our city. 100% of the school supplies collected at the door go directly to the #StuffTheBus initiative, ensuring Charlotte students start the 2026 school year equipped for success.
