Get ready to relive the best days of recess, but this time, it’s just for grown-ups!
Join us for Recess Reloaded, an event packed with classic field day games, water balloons, bounce house relays, and more. Whether you’re here to compete or just have fun, it's all for a good cause!
This year we are raising funds and supplies for two local charities that need extra community support. YWCA and Shelter of Flint take care of our communities most vulnerable members, and we want to give back. Entry into the event is free, but you are required to bring a donation to participate in the games, even if it's only a dollar. Our goal this year is to raise $1000 for each charity, as well as supplies such as clothes and non-perishables!
As well as admissions donations, we will be selling raffle tickets to raise more funds, as well as giving away awesome raffle prizes from our amazing sponsors!
Each charity has lists of acceptable donation items that they need on their websites. Personal hygiene, clothes, baby items, etc, are all perfect for your ticket in. Even if you don't have funds on hand, you can still donate and compete in the hottest outdoor event of the summer.
This event is 21+, which means leave your kids at home! No children will be allowed to participate in the games and raffles. During this event WE are the kids. Let's come together to nurture ourselves and our community through a fun filled day of play.
