Recentre & Reconnect
About this Event
There is a wisdom that can only be found in stillness.
In a world that often asks us to keep moving, striving, and doing, this evening is an invitation to pause. To soften. To breathe. To simply receive.
Healing Connections is honoured to welcome Dr. Mona Ali in collaboration with our owner, Amber McCalmon, for a beautiful evening that blends two unique expressions of yogic medicine.
Dr. Mona Ali is a hypnotherapist and practitioner of psychosomatic and holistic trauma healing. She helps high-performing individuals heal the deep patterns keeping them stuck, moving from inner exhaustion, emotional numbness, and disconnection to feeling alive, aligned, and fulfilled.
Together, we'll guide you through practices that gently calm the nervous system, open the heart, and reconnect you with the quiet space that already exists within.
We'll begin by sharing a specially blended yogic tea as we arrive together in the present moment. As the warmth of the tea invites us inward, we'll explore the energy of the Thymus (Higher Heart) Chakra this a space associated with compassion, trust, gratitude, and our ability to receive life's support with an open heart.
From there, you'll be guided through a heart-centred pranayama practice, using the breath as a bridge between body and mind. Together we'll soften the nervous system, quiet the mental chatter, and create a sense of safety and spaciousness, allowing the body to naturally settle into deep rest.
From this place, you'll be guided into Yoga Nidra. You will soften into a deeply restorative guided meditation often described as yogic sleep. While the body rests completely, awareness remains gently present, offering space for restoration, integration, and profound nervous system renewal.
We'll close the evening immersed in the soothing vibrations of a crystal singing bowl sound bath, allowing the frequencies of sound to gently support relaxation, integration, and a deep sense of inner peace.
