This summer, Greencubator is launching The Summer I Went Green — a five-part Saturday workshop series all about circular living and everyday sustainability. It aims to make sustainable living more practical, accessible, and engaging for international students new to Copenhagen’s green scene, and to bring the local community closer in an inclusive environment where we all share our interest in more mindful living.
No prior experience needed — just curiosity!
♻️Re-bottle: No more chemicals! We are collaborating on this workshop with Cirlucarity Center Denmark!
Are you tired of using harsh chemicals at home? Join our DIY Natural cleaning products workshop!
What will we do?
1)We’ll kick off by exploring Danish consumer culture and decoding product labels. Learn why more Danes are choosing fragrance-free and eco-friendly options, and discover simple kitchen staples like eddike (vinegar), natron (baking soda), and citronsyre (citric acid) that can replace heavy chemical cleaners.
We’ll share recipes for a universal cleaner, glass spray, and disinfectant, so you can see just how easy the swap can be!
Break: Enjoy snacks and talk to the lovely people around!
2)Re-bottle workshop:
Roll up your sleeves! You’ll mix your very own cleaning product using common household ingredients. Then, pour your creation into your own bottle and decorate it! It’s all about reusing old containers and giving them a new life!
What to bring: Just bring your unused empty spray bottles, if you have them, but otherwise we have some for you!
We can learn together about how these little changes can make our lives more circular. 🌍💚
