About this Event
Real-World Dating: Panic, Consent and Self-Defense
Have you ever felt like something was wrong in a social scenario but found yourself freezing up instead of stopping it? You are not alone, and this supportive, hands-on three-part series led by Dr. Becca Whittaker is designed to help you bridge the gap between intuition and action. Geared for women ages 15 and older, this course combines open, honest conversations about boundary-setting and the biology of the body's "freeze" response with practical, easy-to-learn physical self-defense techniques. You will walk away not just understanding why your brain reacts the way it does under pressure, but equipped with the physical skills, mental tools, and confidence needed to trust your gut and safely protect your personal space.
