Course Description
This course prepares real estate licensees to guide buyers through the preparation
phase of a real estate transaction before an offer is written. Participants will learn how to
conduct effective buyer consultation and discovery sessions, analyze shifting market
conditions, interpret pricing data, and develop strategies that support informed buyer
decision-making.
The course examines buyer representation responsibilities under Georgia’s Brokerage
Relationships in Real Estate Transactions Act (BRETTA) and professional
obligations under the REALTOR® Code of Ethics. Participants will explore how to
prepare comparative market analyses (CMAs), evaluate absorption rates, review
property disclosures, and counsel buyers on pricing and negotiation strategies.
