Did you know that more dogs go missing around the Fourth of July than any other time of the year? Fireworks can be overwhelming and scary for many dogs, which is why we’re hosting a special educational class to help keep your dog safe, confident, and prepared this holiday season.
Join us at a local park for a hands-on training and education event designed to help you and your dog navigate fireworks safely.
Class will be $40
What we’ll cover:
✅ How to properly fit and choose the best equipment for your dog (collars, harnesses, leashes, and safety gear)
✅ Tips for creating positive experiences around fireworks
✅ Safe ways to introduce your dog to firework sight, sounds and smells
✅ What to do if your dog is fearful or anxious around loud noises
✅ How to prevent your dog from escaping during firework celebrations
✅ Management techniques to help your dog feel safe and secure at home
✅ Q&A session with our trainers
During the class, we will safely expose dogs to a small amount of firework-related sounds and scents to help build confidence and familiarity in a controlled environment.
Microchipping Available
For a small additional fee of $20, we can microchip your dog during the event. If your dog is not microchipped, we highly recommend it. A microchip greatly increases the chances of your dog being reunited with you if they become lost.
