Kern County Child Support Services is hosting the Annual Ready-Set Back 2 School Backpack Giveaway Events at Kern County Libraries this July 2026!

Bring your kids to receive a FREE backpack, school supplies, & giveaways!

We are proud partners of Kern County Library! Families are invited to enjoy our free backpack giveaway events at these library branches:

Ridgecrest Library - July 17, 10am-12pm

Wasco Library - July 21, 10am-12pm

Buttonwillow Library - July 23, 10am-12pm

California City Library - July 30, 10am-12pm

*Child must be present with adult,

*Child must be in grade K-12

* Limit of 1 backpack per child,

* While supplies last

*First come, first served.
