About this Event

Have you ever wondered what life as a rescue veterinarian or animal rehabilitation specialist is like?

This is your chance to see behind the scenes of the National Aquarium’s Animal Care and Rescue Center and learn what goes into rescuing, rehabilitating and releasing endangered or protected marine wildlife.

Girl Scouts will have the chance to tour the state-of-the-art facility, take part in a simulated sea turtle rescue, and learn about some of the amazing women in this field and the opportunities available to those who are considering this as a career. Participants will not interact with any rescued animals on-site during this event.

All participants will receive a National Aquarium patch.
