Reading Round At Muirhouse library

This World Book Club Day (September 11th), try something a bit different: ‘Reading Round’. Like a book club but without the homework. Led by novelist Ruth Thomas, discover poems and stories for sheer enjoyment, looking at how writers weave their effects. 3-4.30pm, Muirhouse Library. Supported by the Royal Literary Fund; tea and coffee provided.

Author Info

Ruth Thomas is a novelist and short story writer living in Edinburgh. Her most recent novel ‘The Snow and the Works on the Northern Line’was broadcast as a BBC Book at Bedtime and her previous novel ‘The Home Corner’ was chosen as a Reading Agency ‘Summer Reads’ title. Ruth works as a Royal Literary Fund workshop tutor and has lectured in Creative Writing at St Andrews University.
