Reading Meetup at Foxglove PlantBar

Join us for houseplants and weekend reads! Bring a book and settle in for a pleasant morning of reading with fellow book lovers. Foxglove opens early for us at 9:30am. Please wait in your car until 9:30am to give staff and hosts time to set up!

BRING A CHAIR. Please toss a tailgate chair in your car if you have one. There is first-come first-serve seating available inside as well as outside on the covered patio.

SIP AND SHOP. Foxglove has an assortment of coffee, tea, soda, and alcoholic beverages for purchase. Foxglove is also a retail plant and plant accessory shop with an incredible selection of plants for your home.

RESERVE YOUR SEAT & KEEP YOUR RSVP ACCURATE. Foxglove has limited capacity for a seated event. Signing up reserves your spot for this event. If your plans change, please update your reservation to open up that seat for someone else.

ABOUT US: Silent Book Club Athens is a group created to bring together book lovers in the Athens, Georgia community. There is no assigned reading, no deadline to finish a book, and no required discussion. Bring your book of choice and enjoy reading in the company of others who appreciate and support reading too. Adults of all ages are welcome, and so are books of all genres and formats.
