The Race has existed since 1983, and since then it's been built up, making it all about the runner and creating a fabulous running experience. Not only does the race take in the centre of Reading, where you will experience huge crowd support but also passes through the beautiful grounds of the University campus, where the event started and finished in its first year.

The race now culminates in a finish rarely found outside an Olympic stadium with people cheering you into the Select Car Leasing Stadium and over the finish line. So whether you run for fun, run to stay fit, run for a club or professionally, this is a race that is perfect for you.
