The Brighter U Tutorial Services introduces Project Brighter U: Reading for a Cause — A Brighter Future for a Brighter You, an outreach and literacy improvement program that aims to address reading difficulties among pupils and promote a culture of learning.The project will identify 10 students from each grade level (Grades 1–6) who have very low reading comprehension and literacy skills. These selected students will participate in daily tutorial sessions from Monday to Saturday, 30 minutes per session, handled by volunteer tutors and educators.
To mark the start of this initiative, a Kickoff Program will be held on January 9, 2026, at Mandurriao Elementary School, featuring interactive reading activities, storytelling, and community engagement.
This sustained effort seeks to go beyond a one-day event by providing consistent, focused, and compassionate literacy support, with the vision of improving learners’ comprehension skills and restoring their confidence and joy in reading.
