About Sarah Lock
Sarah Lock is a poetic artist, mentor, and facilitator living on Bundjalung land. Her energetic poems are born of her belief in the power of words. She takes pleasure in crafting seemingly mundane or challenging issues into intriguing, entertaining works of art. Her poems are known for their rhythmic use of rhyme, wordplay, and the exploration of themes such as oppression, overcoming, love, language, and unity. Sarah is looking forward to releasing her first collection of poetry and continuing to empower young people through creativity in 2025.
About Nat Briggs
Nat Briggs is a poet living on unceded Bundjalung country. They are a PhD candidate at RMIT University, and their creative practice research is interested in trans poetics.
