READ Project Inaugural Fundraising Gala

The READ Project is a nonprofit that aims to eliminate the cost barrier for refugees seeking higher education. Through tuition scholarships and direct advocacy with universities, we support vulnerable students in accomplishing their dreams of attending university. To date, we have supported dozens of students from Palestine, Afghanistan, Haiti, Yemen, and more. For many of these students, READ is the only available avenue for tuition assistance and advocacy as the vast majority of scholarship opportunities require formal legal status. This is the precise gap that READ aims to fill by supporting displaced students from conflict zones.
