Read it Up Literacy Festival Featured Vendor or Author 2026

Read It Up Literacy Festival is a free, family-friendly celebration of reading for children ages 12 and under, hosted by Taylor Dee Kids TV and powered by Right Now Education, in honor of National Reading Month.

The festival will take place on

🕚 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
🎤 Author & Creator Panel: 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM

This vibrant community event celebrates literacy, stories, characters, and creators in children’s literature while connecting families to tools, resources, and inspiration that support strong, confident readers.

As a Featured Author or Vendor, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Sell and sign books, products, or services at your table
• Engage families through read-alouds, interactive activities, or hands-on experiences
• Connect with fellow authors, educators, and literacy advocates
• Be part of a lively, high-energy event featuring:
• Storytime & reading activities
• Author meet-and-greets
• DJ Pre-K music & performances
• Games, obstacle courses & face painting
• Food trucks, icy treats & family fun
• Vendors offering tools, tips, and resources to support literacy at home and school

Following the festival, we’ll host a panel discussion for aspiring children’s authors, kid entertainers, and content creators, offering insight, encouragement, and inspiration to continue creating and spreading a love of learning, literacy, and creativity for kids everywhere.

To participate as a Featured Author or Vendor, we ask for a $200 participation fee to support event logistics.

We also ask that participants:

• Promote the event on social media
• Personally invite 10+ friends, family members, or supporters
• Support fellow vendors and authors
