Bring your appetite and a dish to share to Read It and Eat: A Cookbook Club!
Join us to explore new recipes, share cooking tips, and enjoy delicious food together! This program is intended for adults who enjoy cooking, and all experience levels are welcome. Each Cookbook Club will feature a selected cookbook, and attendees will bring a dish from the book to share.
· Each month, we will display the chosen cookbook at the Lancaster City Branch circulation desk.
· Register by adding your name and chosen recipe to the signup sheet (located at the circulation desk).
· If needed, a staff member will make a (free!) photocopy of your chosen recipe.
· Make the recipe at home and bring it to Cookbook Club to share.
Participants should follow all food safety precautions when preparing their dish, and all allergens should be clearly stated.
Discussion will center around baking techniques, recipe clarity, skill level, and accuracy, as well as ways they would improve or change the recipe, and the experience they had preparing the recipe.
