Come dressed in your favorite beachwear, tropical outfits, or sunny colors for even more fun! Parents can relax in our cozy café with handcrafted drinks and treats while little ones read, play, create, and explore. ☕🌿

Cafe refreshments will be available for an additional cost. Please arrive on time to ensure you're able to get the entirety of your session.
Each Read and Play event includes access to our Imaginative Play area for one 2-hour session. During that time, children will be able to play, explore, and create in a space made for them. This themed event includes a snack that coincides with the book, a craft to take home, and an enthusiastic reading of the book. Parents can also add 'Book Fair Bucks' onto their reservation to allow children the opportunity to shop our book fair collection following the event, which promotes independence and financial literacy. Children are welcome to play throughout the entire 2-hours. This event will follow a schedule, but this is a sensory friendly activity that allows children to participate in each activity at their discretion instead of a formal instructional class.

A dry cereal snack is provided during that time that corresponds with our story for the week. These reading are completely optional, but are included in your session should your session overlap with the story time. We cannot guarantee story for those whose sessions do not overlap with the story reading.
