When the dark power blocks out the sun, there will be no escape. Join us for the sinister release of Pokèmon Pitch Black, featuring the first trading card appearance of Mega Darkrai Ex!Players of all skill levels welcome. Some Pokémon trading card game knowledge is recommended, but not required.
Gootzy Gaming runs pre-release pricing based off of age, as we want all our young trainers to be able to attend!
Ages <= 12: $25 entry
Ages >12: $35 entry
All entries include pre-release build and battle kit, plus prize support. This event will be capped at 3 rounds of play.
This event has a maximum of 20 spots, which must be paid for at the time of sign-up. Please stop into the store to sign-up.
We're an official Play! Pokémon store. Join us every other Monday at 6:15 pm for Youth and Family Pokémon night!
Location: Gootzy Gaming - 300 4th Ave Altoona PA (on corner of 3rd St. and 4th Ave.)
Free parking is available in the private lots behind the building on 3rd street. Street parking is also available around the building on 4th ave and 3rd street.
Handicap parking is available in the lot behind the building or directly in front of the building. If you need any other accommodations, please contact the store.
Gootzy Gaming is a 100% peanut and tree nut free location. Please refrain from bringing peanut or tree nut items with you to the store. Snacks and beverages available on site.
