Read Across America Week Is Almost Here! 📚We’re excited to celebrate Read Across America Week beginning March 2nd! Throughout the week, our classrooms will be filled with engaging stories, imagination, and meaningful literacy activities designed to foster a lifelong love of reading.
Our Book Fair will also run during Read Across America Week, with an opening viewing day on February 27th. Families can browse and shop throughout the week.
We will also have a Mystery Reader sign-up sheet available for family members who would like to come in and read during Read Across America Week. We would love to have you join us in celebrating the joy of reading!
✨ Spirit Days:
Monday – Families
We’ll kick off the week by reading books about families and celebrating that families come in all shapes and sizes.
Tuesday – Funny Books & Silly Hats
Students are invited to wear their silliest hats as we enjoy funny and silly stories.
Wednesday – Jungle Day
Students are welcome to dress for Jungle Day as we explore stories about animals and nature.
Thursday – Superhero Day
Students are invited to dress as the superhero they are as we celebrate confidence and imagination.
Friday – Pajama Day & Bedtime Stories
Students can come dressed in pajamas as we wrap up the week with cozy bedtime stories.
