Calling all foundation doctors who are interested in exploring a career in general practice, this event is for you! This networking event aims to allow those interested in entering a career in general practice to meet and network with each other, to explore career opportunities within general practice, and to learn about the application process and training scheme.
Whilst enjoying complimentary food and drinks, you will have the chance to network with:
1. GPs involved in medical education
2. GPs involved in the RCGP
3. GPs with extended roles (previously GPs with special interests)
4. GP trainees who are currently in the GP training scheme
5. GPs involved in the running of the GP training scheme
6. Other doctors who are also interested in entering a career in general practice
At the event, there will also be the opportunity to sign up to a matching scheme, which will put attendees in contact with GPs who are willing to host them for taster days in general practice.
Although this event is aimed at foundation doctors, doctors from other roles such as junior clinical fellows or those considering a change in specialty are also welcome.
