This course is an extension of the After School Anime course. This course continues to focus on the various mediums used in anime drawing and is intended to build artistic confidence while creating a space for youth and teens with common interests to make friends and share ideas with peers. This class is going into its 4th year running and is taught by local anime-style artist, Brock Gratz.
The class serves as an introduction to anime drawing, a place to develop skills, and receive mentorship. This course is intended for teens of all skill levels. Participants will receive one-on-one time during class to help develop skills in areas they wish to focus on. There will be ample reference materials from the anime industry to learn from and inspire their own drawing style. Participants in this course will feel encouraged as creators, animators, and storytellers.
Participants who register for this course do not need to have taken the previous anime course. Participant from the previous after school anime course are welcome to continue on to this course.
