  • Understanding healthcare associated infections
  • Identifying the parts of the chain of infection
  • Describing routes of transmission
  • Knowing what are your responsibilities for infection prevention and control
  • Demonstrate how to correctly perform hand hygiene.
  • List PPE items and their uses
  • Identify which products are required to clean different areas/items
  • Understanding how to maintain a safe environment
  • Learn what to do in case of sharps injury
