RBC 60th Anniversary

Dear Friends and Members of Riverside Baptist Church,
This coming September our church will be celebrating 60 years! Pastor and Mrs. Dean planted this church and held the first service on September 11, 1966. To the glory of God this church is still operating, and Pastor Dean continues to lead as our pastor. Of course, this is very rare, and we want to celebrate this milestone occasion in a special way to glorify the Lord. We also want to honor this special couple for their devotion to the Lord and dedication to the people of this church.
For this cause I am writing to inform you to mark your calendars for September 12-13, 2026. OnSaturday September 12th at 5 p.m. we will meet in the Main Hall at the Indian Harbour Beach Recreation Center for a special anniversary dinner and program. The address is 1233 Yacht Club Boulevard in Indian Harbour Beach.
The following day, Sunday the 13th, we will honor Pastor and Mrs. Dean at Riverside Baptist Church in the 11:00 morning service. We will worship and praise the Lord together for blessing our church and allowing our pastor to faithfully serve Him these 60 years. We will continue our celebration in the evening service, so please plan to attend that service also.

Riverside Baptist Church has been blessed to be led by a wonderful man of God since the church was started almost 60 years ago. He and his wife have served the Lord with all their might. There have been moments of sorrow and times of great joy as they have ministered faithfully. We will be receiving a special love offering for them and you can start giving to it now. We will present this financial love gift to them at the 60th Anniversary. Be sure to write on the giving envelope “Anniversary gift” or if someone needs to mail a check, be sure to mail it to my home address – so that it remains a surprise for the Deans.
