Please join us for our 14th annual tournament on Kelleys Island! Last year we kept things rollin' with an absolute great group of people and overall great time on the islands, this year we hope that you join us to make it that much better. Not only is this a fun volleyball tournament but even if you don't play it's a great time to get away and party with us Friday and Saturday at the Casino bar or make the trek across the street and enjoy the famous strawberry shots!! We expect an even better turnout this year and are looking to get some teams from out of state as well, so the reason for this early invite is so that you can book your lodging as soon as possible. *This years tournament is NOT on Father’s Day weekend. Tournament info: The tournament itself will be held Saturday June 21st, you may register before the tournament at Razzles or may send check by mail to 27128 bagley rd. olmsted twp, oh 44138. The tournament cost will be $205 per team and will once again include food at the players party on Friday night and drink tickets for your team at the player party on Saturday night!! Team check in will be Saturday morning at the fields between 9:00 and 9:30am, play will begin by 10am. The format will be grass coed 6s(minimum 2 girls), there will be at least 5 levels of play but we reserve the right to increase or consolidate based on # of teams, I do see it returning to over the 70 plus teams after a rough Covid year for everyone. Divisions we had last year were upper, gold intermediate, silver intermediate, lower, and recreational.
Lodging info: You are more then welcome to just come and play for the day but If you choose to enjoy the weekend festivities there are many different options. I will be listing #'s of individual places to stay but the easiest way to see condos, homes, cottages, efficiencies, hotels, motels is at kelleysislandchamber.com and follow the lodging tab. You can easily find a condo for 6 to 8 people for around $350 for the entire weekend. If you enjoy camping there are camp sites w/electric still available for $72 for the entire weekend, the reservation # for camping is 866-644-6727. There will be much more lodging info given at a later date.
Party and discount info: Again, there will be much more info on this to follow but we do know that the player party will be at the Casino bar Friday and Saturday night complete with free food on Friday and drink tickets on Saturday!! I will say that it will be very difficult to top the party from last year but lets give it a try!! We will fill you in on breakfast options from our friends at Dockers as well as other discounts such as the ferry.
Much more information will be provided as the date comes closer, please be on your game and book your lodging early as we do anticipate a great turnout this year,remember you can always stay at Marlbehead or other islands as well if the lodging becomes scarce.
