Ray on the Road: Glassblowing Session 3

Things are heating up at Kaukauna Public Library! Experience a live glass blowing demonstration presented by Bergstrom Mahler Glass Museum artist Taylor, and help from furnace Ray. Watch a skilled artist shape molten glass into stunning art right before your eyes. Learn about the tools, techniques, and creativity behind this fiery art form during this fascinating demonstration. It’s sure to be a “glass” act worth seeing! Registration is required for safe seating. Registration is limited to 40 seats and will begin 2 weeks before the event on Friday, July 31.
The three sessions for registration are:
• 12:30 pm – 1:15 pm Glass Plate(45 minutes)
• 1:30 pm – 2:15 pm Glass Plate (45 minutes)
• 2:30 pm – 3:15 pm Paperweight (30 minutes)

Please note: The demonstration area will be very hot due to the high temperatures required for glass blowing. Attendees are encouraged to dress comfortably, bring water, and use caution in the demonstration space. Feel the heat, see the art.

Registrants who do not show up without cancelling and registrants that cancel less than four hours before a program may have their registration removed from future events if the no call/no show/no cancel happens twice in a row. Removal of participation from an event registration list is at the full discretion of Library staff.
