rawSEC is a community initiative dedicated to promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration in Malaysia’s cybersecurity landscape. Our meetups focus on addressing emerging trends and challenges in the industry. The theme for this meetup, “Tango of Threats: AI's Dual Role in Cyber Defense and Offense” highlights the dual nature of AI in cybersecurity. While AI enhances threat detection and incident response, it is also being used by attackers to launch advanced threats. This event will explore how the cybersecurity community can leverage AI responsibly.

We are delighted to welcome three distinguished speakers who will share their expertise:

1. Dr Nurul Nuha Abdul Molok, Leader at Information Assurance & Security Research Unit, Kulliyyah of ICT, IIUM who will present on “AI: A double-edged sword”
2. Ahmad Zaidi Said, DFIR Specialist at Kaspersky GERT, who will discuss “AI-Driven Incident Response: Enhancing Speed and Accuracy in Cyber Threat Mitigation.”
3. Fareed Fauzi, Security Researcher at Kaspersky GREAT, who will present on “Tango of Threats: AI's Dual Role in Cyber Defense and Offense.”
