Raw wool seat pad

Joins us for a relaxed day learning and creating in the hills of south Eryri in North Wales overlooking LlynTegid.

This will be a one day workshop where you'll have the opportunity to learn the traditional skill of creating a rug using a peg loom.

During this workshop we will use raw wool sourced from local sheep. Looms can be borrowed or you are welcome to bring your own.

Warp thread and raw fleece will be available to buy.
Rowenna has over 20 years of experience in leading workshops and is an experienced Arts in Health practitioner, having worked in the private and public sector leading workshops and creating commissioned work.
The workshop will be held near Bala, nestled between the Berwyn hills and the legendary Llyn Tegid.
What you need to bring:
- Comfortable clothing and possibly, your slippers.
- A packed lunch.
- Cushions for your own comfort.
- Waterproofs in case you fancy taking a short walk during the lunch hour to the lake shore or up the valley.
- A readiness to learn and embrace a new skill that will have you looking at wool in a whole new light.
