Ravi Chary - Ravi Chary is a distinguished sitar maestro from Goa, India, known for his mastery in both Indian classical and fusion music. He began his musical journey under the tutelage of his father, the late Pt. Prabhakar Chary, a noted tabla player and musicologist. Ravi further honed his sitar skills under Prof. Abdul Karim Khan in Goa and later under Padma Bhushan Ustad Abdul Halim Jaffer Khan and Padma Shri Ustad Shahid Parvez Khan in Mumbai. His playing style seamlessly blends traditional raga interpretations with contemporary elements, showcasing his versatility and innovative approach. Ravi's performances are marked by intricate rhythmic patterns and soulful improvisations, captivating audiences worldwide and bridging classical Indian music with global genres through diverse collaborations.
Kunal Gunjal is an award winning Santoor artiste and is a disciple of Pt.Shivkumar Sharma. He has performed at many prestigious music festivals. He recently opened for Ustad Zakir Hussain at the Gunidas Sangeet Sammelan. He has also received many awards such as Dr. Vasantrao Deshpande Yuva Kalakar Puraskar, Vedic Heritage (NY, USA) by Sangeet Martand Pandit Jasraj, National Scholarship, awarded by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India and the Sawai Gandharva Scholarship.
Amit Kavthekar is a distinguished Indian tabla player, renowned as the last ganda-bandhan (ordained disciple) of the legendary Ustad Allarakha and a prominent disciple of Ustad Zakir Hussain.Rooted in the Punjab gharana, his playing style seamlessly blends traditional rhythms with contemporary nuances, reflecting a sensitive and dynamic approach. Amit has collaborated with eminent musicians across various genres and serves as a faculty member with Shadaj Music School, imparting his profound knowledge to the next generation of percussionists.
