K*ll Bill: The Rapper and Rav are two of the best kept secrets inthe current underground rap scene. With a deep history of over
a decade of releasing music together through their rap guild,
exociety, they’ve amassed a strong cult following through both
their collaborative efforts as well as their solo works (many of
which have charted on Billboard independently).
From award-winning merch sales on tours to cultivating a rabid,
devoted fanbase all across the globe, they’ve somehow
remained one of Hip-Hop’s hidden easter eggs; a rabbit hole of
indie rap akin to a modern Def Jux or Anticon.
After what feels like forever since releasing their cult classic
mixtape, NEW MOON, Rav and K*ll Bill: The Rapper reunite for
their much anticipated first collab album, KEEP THE CHANGE!
The duo join forces with an updated in-your face, industrial hip-
hop sound reminiscent of the likes of Danny Brown and Run The
Jewels.
Self-produced. DIY as fuck. Really rapping but not being corny
about it. KEEP THE CHANGE! runs a gamut of sounds all the way
from breakbeats a la Jet Set Radio to stumbling upon a
forbidden forest ritual with crushing 808s squeezed between
your breaths. Even in its diversity, KEEP THE CHANGE! somehow
remains a cohesive and compelling listen.
meltycanon credits video games as the reason he started making music; as a child, he replayed them simply to hear the soundtracks.
Today, the Alabama-based artist/producer’s aspirations lie in creating evocative compositions people can get caught up in.
meltycanon’s ambitions extend far beyond forging new sounds for rappers — he seems to have an appetite for almost all roles that a musician can play, experimenting both with his own voice and with the multi-instrumentalist skill set that he developed as a pre-teen.
Having produced for the likes of Father, Lil Yachty, Savage Ga$p and many more, he honed a sound that makes for a dynamic stage presence for his own solo work that lends for a captivating live show. After going on multiple nationwide tours alongside exociety, as well as doing solo shows and supporting acts such as Awful Music, he’s grown into a seasoned artist and performer that always leaves a strong impression with the audience.
love-sadKiD is a rapper-singer from Dallas TX, based in Seattle making lofi hip-hop music since 2017. They’re known for their layered melodies, dense introspective lyrics, and their for lush production.
Dahm is a rapper-singer-producer from Arizona currently based in Colorado, known for combining left-field production with a strong pop foundation. A distinct sense of melody has allowed Dahm to meld his eclectic influences into their own unique style. Dahm is gearing up to release a new self produced album this fall!
