Rattlers Bridge Workshop: "Bridging Campus and Community"
About this Event
Join artist Kabuya Bowens-Saffo for the Rattlers Bridge art workshop “Bridging Campus and Community” on Saturday, June 13, from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. This free workshop brings the FAMU campus and local community together through a creative workshop inspired by the past and present history of Adams Street. Using mixed-media materials, participants will create a visual narrative of collaged images in book form while exploring the shared history of FAMU’s campus and the Adams Street community. Art supplies are provided. The Rattlers Bridge art workshops are free and open to the public thanks to a generous Council on Culture and Art (COCA) grant.
