Right in the heart of Raffles Place, on the 2nd floor of Republic Plaza, RASA embraces music, arts and culture with a Southeast Asian edge. And that’s absolutely what we echo with. Once where the breeze by the river carried dreams of community, hope and abundance in scents of Pandan, Cempedek and Plantain - as evoked in the popular poem Rasa Sayang.
In co-creation with RASA Weekender and Wild Pearl’s Community sessions, we layer the nightlife with a daytime gathering to celebrate the best of Singapore’s artist soul in all our growers, makers and creators right here.
The dreamers that have decided to take that alternative path focused on the artisanal, the sacrifice of the craftsman, the small, independent, hands on-get your hands dirty, founder.
Curated by culinary anthropologist Nithiya Laila, the market will feature a slew of locally grown and made produce and products. Get a JAGUA ink tattoo or a tarot reading while you pickup the best produce from Singapore's farms and rack up sustainable goods lovingly designed and made by local craftsmen.
There will also be a pop up arts corner showcasing local artists.
From our first one in Holland Village back in 2018 to all the soul enriching, full house ones in Dempsey, Botanic Gardens, Macritchie and most recently, Kampong Bugis - it’s always been about local.social and sustainable consumerism. And to do it here, in the center of the republic, what a treat x
Spend your weekend with us, discover an organic curation of local farmers as well as local craftsmen, in this area full of historical commerce now with the soul of the artisan.
