RARAE25 GRAND FINALE

How do you say farewell to something you love and enjoy doing? After 11 years RARAE is hanging it up. We have met thousands of authors & readers from all over the world. We have been in WV, MD, PA & VA. The planning of every event has been worth every single second. But it's time to sit back and relax.

This is the final year for RARAE and what a way to go out!

The line up we have is stellar and the enthusiasm building in the Rebels and Readers Author event Facebook group is unbelievable.

We thought long and hard how to pull this final event off.

In years past, our tickets have been set VIP, General Admission & so on.

In our eyes, everyone is a VIP. So with that said, we are only doing 1 single ticket this year. We want everyone to mix and mingle and not feel separated.

That ticket includes the Friday Night Mixer that will be held from 7PM-11PM in the Grande Theatre of the hotel located on the main floor. There will be a DJ and cash bar. It is not a formal setting and you can come dressed however you feel.

That ticket also includes the signing on Saturday from 12PM-4PM in the Ball Rooms of the hotel on the second floor.

There is a reason we are only doing 1 ticket. This year is all about giving back to you, the readers. And in order to do that and keep it fair for everyone, this is the best way to accomplish that.

We are putting "special" items that can not be purchased into the first 150 BAGS when line up starts. These "special" items will be in increments of 25. These items will be mixed up within the first 150 in line. These special items are not books. These are super secret items.

Now, there are rules to this of course.

1. YOU MUST BE PHYSICALLY IN LINE TO GET THE BAG. If you are purchasing multiple tickets for you and your friends, that's fine however, in order for everyone to get the bag with the special item, they must be in line. NO EXCEPTIONS.
2. YOU CAN ONLY GET 1 BAG WITH A SPECIAL ITEM. Once you have your bag, you may not leave line and go to the back/cut to get another bag with a different special item.
3. If you would like to purchase additional bags(empty) you will be able to do so.

The bags are already picked out and soon starting production as they will have the sponsors logo's, RARAE logo plus a little extra pazzaz to them. And they are HUGE.

EVERYONE WHO PURCHASES A TICKET WILL RECEIVE A BAG W/ SWAG & PRINTED NAME BADGE. These bags will be full of goodies!

There is also a HUGE SUPER SECRET something we are doing at the very end of the event that you DON'T WANT TO MISS. This is something that the authors do not even know. And EVERYONE who attends will be eligible. This has never been done and can't wait for it to happen.

The event is being hosted at The DoubleTree by Hilton located at 1001 3rd Ave, Huntington WV 25701. Should the hotel sale out of rooms, there is another hotel, Mariot, that is just a block down the street that is still within walking distance to the DoubleTree and all eateries and such.

If you have never been to RARAE or Huntington, WV it is a quaint small college town home of the Marshall University. I strongly suggest if you plan on attending, watching the movie We Are Marshall. It is a true story that was filmed in Huntington about the 1970 Marshall football team, coaches & staff who lost their lives in a plane crash returning from an away football games.

Attributes to the location as well, the hotel is valet parking only. Which really is nice because once you're there, you really don't need to drive to eat or even shop. There is a variety of restaraunts all within walking distance of the hotel. Adorable boutiques, arcade, ice cream shops, Starbucks and so much more.
