This session will explore the essence of Raqs Baladi, a deeply expressive folkloric style, focusing on its signature movements, cultural nuances, and the heartfelt storytelling that makes this dance so special.

✔️ Tarifa’s 'Raqs Abla' choreography, inspired by her grandmother, Abla, featuring expressive movement with two scarves or handkerchiefs
✔️ Choreography structure, staging, and performance skills
💃 8-Week Commitment & Performance Opportunity!
Students will learn the full choreography with staging over 8 weeks, and consistent attendance is required to be eligible for the performance. This class culminates in the exciting opportunity to perform in our annual ‘Raqs Alegria: Live Music & Dance Show’ this May, celebrating bellydance with live music and an enthusiastic audience!
