Raptors & Nature: Bobcat Ridge
When: Saturday August 22nd, 9-11:30 a.m.
Program Schedule:
9:00 - 10:00 a.m. - participant arrival to BCR, hike out-and-back with volunteer naturalist
10:00 - 11:00 a.m. - RMRP presentation
11:00 - 11:30 - questions, walk back to vehicles, and departure
Program Description: Learn about the amazing raptors that populate Colorado's Front Range and how we can help conserve them. Enjoy a short hike with a naturalist to explore the flora and fauna at Bobcat Ridge. Then, observe live raptors up close with a visit from special guest, the Rocky Mountain Raptor Program. This program will feature various raptor species found in Colorado!
What to bring: Dress appropriately for the weather forecast. Bring sunscreen, a hat, closed-toe, sturdy shoes, and plenty of water. You may wish to bring binoculars, if you have them.
