We’re hosting a Rangatahi focused kōrero at The Yard on Tuesday 24 March, from 6–8pm, with a huge mihi to Naomi and Brian for opening their space to us.This Kaupapa is about understanding what opportunities our young people want to see in Raglan, what’s missing, and how we can build pathways that genuinely support them into meaningful mahi across tourism, events, hospitality, adventure guiding, and creative industries.
We’ll be asking things like:
- What kinds of jobs or training would you like to see more of in Raglan?
- What skills or support would help Rangatahi step into local roles?
- What barriers do you see, and what would make things easier?
It will be a relaxed, open kōrero - come as you are, bring your Rangatahi, bring their mates, and help us understand what a strong, future-focused workforce looks like from both an adult and youth perspective.
Please RSVP so we can organise kai and resources for everyone attending.
