The Randleman Cruise-In is a free, family-friendly classic car event held in historic downtown Randleman, North Carolina. Hosted by Summer’s Auto Sales and Randleman Service Station, this community event brings together car enthusiasts, local businesses, families, and visitors from across the region for a day filled with horsepower, hometown pride, and small-town charm.
Held twice a year on the third Saturday in May and September, the Cruise-In transforms Main Street into a showcase of classic cars, muscle cars, trucks, specialty builds, motorcycles, and modern performance vehicles. With hundreds of vehicles lining the streets, attendees enjoy live entertainment, DJ music, local vendors, Kids Zone activities, shopping at Main Street businesses, and delicious food options throughout downtown.
The next major event, scheduled for May 16, 2026 (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM), will feature the highly anticipated Eastbound & Down Ultimate Smokey and the Bandit Tribute, including Tim Phillips as “The Bandit” with his iconic 1977 Pontiac Trans Am and Sean Bailey as Sheriff Buford T. Justice in the 1977 Pontiac LeMans Texas Cruiser. This exciting feature attraction is expected to draw visitors from across North Carolina and surrounding states.
What makes the Randleman Cruise-In special is its deep commitment to community. The event is powered by local sponsorships, small businesses, volunteers, and strong partnerships with the City of Randleman, local police and fire departments, and the Randleman Chamber. While the city supports logistics and safety, the event itself is independently organized and funded by its hosts and sponsors to ensure it remains free for the public.
The Cruise-In highlights the best of Randolph County—supporting local merchants, promoting tourism, and creating a welcoming environment where families can enjoy a safe and exciting day together. From car clubs rolling in as groups, to first-time cruisers lining Main Street, the atmosphere blends nostalgia, community spirit, and high-energy entertainment.
With live music, vendor booths, Kids Zone activities, sponsor showcases, and downtown businesses open throughout the day, the Randleman Cruise-In continues to grow each year—bringing thousands of attendees together while celebrating automotive history and small-town values.
