Back by popular demand, R&B & Ready returns to Chateau Walnut Creek! So many of you have been asking for this to come back, and we’re excited to bring another unforgettable singles mixer with smooth R&B vibes, real connection, and Bay Area energy.

This isn’t speed dating, and it’s definitely not another club night. It’s a curated experience for singles who want something different — a space to meet others in a grown, soulful atmosphere where the music sets the tone and real conversations take center stage.

💘 What to Expect:

• Live R&B set by DJ Heartbreak
• Guided matchmaking experiences, icebreakers, and conversation prompts to break the ice
• A beautifully designed lounge setting built for flow, comfort, and connection
• Complimentary light appetizers served throughout the evening
• Signature cocktails + mocktails crafted just for the night
• A room full of social, local professionals — mostly between 25–45, from Walnut Creek, Danville, Oakland, Concord, and beyond

Unlike a brunch or party vibe, this night is intentionally paced. The music will be the soundtrack, not the main event — allowing space for eye contact, conversation, and chemistry.

An intimate and stylish venue in the heart of downtown — warm lighting, lounge seating, and a touch of elegance.

👗 DRESS CODE:
Dress like you're going on a date. Elevated casual — stylish, expressive, and put-together. No slides, gym wear, or oversized logos.

⚠️ TICKET POLICY:
Tickets are strictly enforced by gender. Each ticket will be matched to the attendee at check-in. If a female purchases a male ticket, or a male purchases a female ticket, the attendee will not be admitted, and no refund will be issued. Please select the ticket that matches your gender to ensure entry.

🕰️ EVENT SCHEDULE:
6:30 PM – Early Check-In Opens (arrive, get a drink, ease into the vibe)
7:00 PM – Official Start / Guided matchmaking experiences begin
7:30 PM – Social mix + lounge conversation
8:30 PM – Final round of matchmaking prompts + closing connections
9:00 PM – Event concludes

Full bar available — signature cocktails and mocktails inspired by the playlist.

💡 A NOTE FROM DJ HEARTBREAK:
People hear “DJ Heartbreak” and assume I don’t believe in love — but that couldn’t be further from the truth. I believe in creating spaces where connection, conversation, and real moments can happen naturally, and R&B & Ready is one of those spaces. It’s about meeting people, sparking chemistry, and enjoying music that sets the tone for connection.

At the same time, all of my events — from R&B & Ready to my R&B-themed brunches, and even R&B and Golf — are built around a larger vision: the family unit is everything. Through these experiences, I try to honor family, bring people together, and uplift our communities. My Heal the Heartbreak Foundation carries that same mission, supporting single-parent households and creating opportunities that strengthen families.

With each event, my hope is that we can have fun, make connections, and ultimately uplift our families and communities together — one meaningful experience at a time.

I’m grateful to bring these experiences back to Walnut Creek, the place where my journey as a DJ began, and to provide an environment where people can connect, share, and create real moments together.
