To celebrate the USA's 2026 Juneteenth Federal Holiday and to encourage the City of Rancho Cucamonga Southern California USA to make Juneteenth an Official City Holiday, participants heed Opel Lee's call to annually WALK 2 & 1/2 miles in remembrance of the 2 & 1/2 years it took for United States Slaves to be informed that they had been freed.
On Friday (6/19/26) starting before 9:30am at 7th Street and Anaheim Place, Rancho Cucamonga CA 91730 USA (near the Solamonte Apartment Complex Cucamonga Station side gate entrance) prolific Hollywood talent Phillip E. Walker-MFA greets them.
Then at 10:00 am PhilE (stage name) will begin to lead the 2 & 1/2 mile WALK to Rancho Cucamonga City Hall.
