Ramy Essam - Songs of Liberation:
An actual living legend is entering the SCENE3 stage to share his stories and reflections through his music and words. Ramy Essam who many call the voice of the Egyptian revolution, the man who brought a lone guitar to Tahir square and risked his life together with his friends to sing the truth. He now comes, accompanied by two from his band, to Oslo, to Det Norske Teatret, to the SCENE3 universe, to share his Songs of Liberation and reflect together with us about the state of the world.
How music and art actually can affect politics, and more than anything be in the moment together and be PRESENT in the flesh with people who have experienced the consequences of freedom of speech. The privilege to demonstrate” is something our country has never needed to think about. Let’s, through these few hours we have together, learn, grow and share our hearts as one through these “Songs of Liberation”.
*Ticket expenses go to Ramy & his fellow musicians, having travelled all this way to perform for us on this single night.

**This event is one of the most rare and special side stories in the SCENE3 universe and is part of the “SAYKOLUHJEE” story, but also something you have to experience if you have any care for what’s going on in the world right now and how to make change through ART in our priveliged society! ONCE IN A LIFE TIME EXPERIENCE.
