About this Event

To celebrate National Recreation and Parks Month, join us July 6th from 10am-11am or 1pm-2pm in the Visitor and Education Center at Fort Monroe for Rampart Readers, a children’s book club partnership between Fort Monroe Authority and Hampton Public Library.

This month, we are reading Amara and the Bats, written and illustrated by Emma Reynolds, showcasing the power of communities coming together to create spaces for everyone to enjoy nature. After, spend some time with us to create a flying paper bat craft.
