Whether you’ve always been curious about the pottery wheel or just want to try something new, our Adult Classes are perfect for you.

We have a limited number of wheels per session, so be sure to reserve your spot in advance!

• Have your own wheel for 60 minutes.
• Includes 3 (~1.5 pound) balls of clay and the firing of 1 piece*.
• $10 non-refundable deposit required to reserve, with the balance paid at the studio.

Finishing Options:

• Studio Glazed (Included): We'll professionally glaze your piece in the color of your choice .
• Glaze It Yourself (*Additional Fee): Prefer to add your own finishing touches? Return for one of our glazing workshops (offered several times each month) to glaze your piece yourself before the final firing.

Once your piece dries, we'll fire it in the kiln and your finished masterpiece will be ready to take home and show off (approximately 4–6 weeks turnaround).

This is an experience designed for beginners, and we focus on helping you through the basics. We will focus on leading you through throwing a ramen bowl shape We do not guarantee you’ll make a fire-able piece or achieve the shape as it is based on individual abilities*, but if not, you can choose a finished piece as a memento of your session.

*Ceramics are an extremely unpredictable medium and we are unable to guarantee pieces won't crack during the multiple phases of the process (drying, bisque fire and glaze firing). Please note ceramics also shrink approximately 15% from the time you throw it to final firing.

• Classes begin & end at published times and last 1 hour or until you use up your 3 balls of clay, whichever comes first. Additional clay can be purchased for $5 per ball if time permits.
• Want to keep more than your included piece? You can fire additional pieces for $15 each (includes glazing and second firing).

• No cancels/reschedules within 48 hours of the class
• No credits or refunds are issued in the event of a no-show
• Ages 16 and up.
• All people in the wheel area must be registered, no spectators
• No open-toed shoes.
• Fingernails may get dirty or break.
• Wear comfortable clothing that can get messy (no skirts/dresses/kilts).
• No loose jewelry or rings.
• Long hair should be tied back.
