We gather during Ramadan with Muslim friends for a Christian-Muslim dialogue, a special concert and a lovely meal together. The dialogue topic will be "What is the meaning of Ramadan, and of Lent ?" Two Muslim and two Christian young people will share their understandings of Ramadan and of Lent, then there will be open discussion. The concert will feature the playing of the ney, a Turkish flute, a key instrument in Turkish classical music and Sufi music. Our evening will conclude with breaking the Ramadan fast together, at sunset (8.07pm).
