RAMA VOCAL CENTER SYMPOSIUM- Artistic & Didactic Perspectives on Jazz/Pop Choral Directing!
The RAMA Vocal Center (RVC) Symposium is a half-day professional forum presented by RAMA – The Royal Academy of Music as part of Aarhus Vocal Festival 2026. It is not required to have a festival pass to attend - just a ticket for the symposium itself.
At the symposium, professors from RVC and invited guests present insights from their latest artistic, pedagogical, and practice-based research in jazz/pop choral directing. Through short presentations, live demonstrations, and reflective dialogue, the symposium offers an in-depth look into how innovative choral practices are developed, explored, and taught at one of Europe’s leading music institutions.
The symposium is aimed at choir directors, music educators, students, and others with a professional or artistic interest in jazz/pop choral music and learning processes.
