Ralph C. Wilson Park Photowalk

Join as we photograph Detroit's latest addition to the Riverwalk: the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Centennial Park. Meet other photographers, share ideas, and make photos with us!

The park offers a beautiful river view, greenery, and unique architectural features for us to photograph. Wear comfortable walking shoes and be prepared to walk for over an hour.

This walk is meant to be low-key, fun, and community-focused. That said, our staff will be along for the ride and are happy to answer photography-related questions as we walk!

Our approximate meeting point within the park will be sent in your confirmation email after registering. A map will be emailed to you closer to the event date.

Parking information according to the :

"Currently, there is on-street parking the full length of the park along Jefferson and Rosa Parks with a total of 150 spots added to the north and south side of West Jefferson. The Michigan Central project built a parking deck at Bagley called the “Ford Mobility Hub," which has parking and restrooms available with a link to the SW Greenway that connects directly to the Park.

Within a ten-minute walk of the park there are roughly 1,000 parking spots (street and garage parking)."
