Hello and welcome!We are hosting a pickleball tournament fundraiser in efforts to raise money for a local church and its new building project.
As seen on the flyer, this will be a one-day tournament with opportunities to play at your skill level. We will have OPEN Men’s Singles, Women’s Singles, Beginner(3.49 below)and Intermediate(3.5+) Doubles; Men’s, Women’s, Mixed. The order for which each event plays is yet to be determined, as of now it will be Singles, then Beginner Doubles and ending with Intermediate Doubles.

To register, please contact Kevin Yang or Blong Xiong as seen on the flyer. Please register before Monday, May 26th to secure a spot. There will be no registration allowed after the 26th or on the day of the tournament.

There will be a max of 12 players each for SINGLES and 10 teams for each Doubles event. Names or Team Name will be added on to this page as people sign up.
Your spot will only be confirmed if you have paid for your event with a ✅
Minimum of 6 teams are required for an event to happen. There may be a possibility of adding more teams for another event. (Example: Men’s doubles has 6 teams, while women’s doubles has 10 teams with 2 teams on waitlist. Women’s doubles will then transition 12 teams.)

Rules:
- Pool play will be self-reffed based of off the rules of Pickleball from this link: https://usapickleball.org/what-is-pickleball/official-rules/rules-summary/
- This is a non-profit event for a church, so we ask for honesty, respect, and good sportsmanship throughout the whole day
- If both sides cannot come to a conclusion, a replay of the last play will be conducted
- Pool Play matches are 1 game to 11 points, win by 1. Switch sides at 6.
- Playoff matches will be 1 game to 15 points, win by 1. Switch sides at 8.
- Final four teams in the playoff will play best of 3, game to 11 win by 1. If a third match were to happen, teams will switch sides at 6. Will plan for volunteer kitchen line refs, not guaranteed.
- To determine first serve, players can decided to either do 1 or 2 behind their back or ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS. :) Winner gets to choose serve or side.
We are hopeful in guaranteeing 5 matches total, 4 matches of Pool Play to determine seeding and 1 match of Playoffs. Everyone will make playoffs.
-Games/Matches are subject to change, dependent on the number of participants.
-We will be using Franklin x-40 outdoor pickleballs.
***The tournament will be played on 6 outside courts***
